Felipe Arturo

Artist, Architect

Felipe Arturo is an architect and artist whose practice takes elements of urbanism, architecture, history of the city and the relationship between art, politics, history, geography and economics. Working in various media ranging from sculpture to video installations interested concepts like structure, sequence and matter. His work has been exhibited at the Luis Angel Arango Library, the Sculpture Center, the Biennial Art Naif in Piracicaba and Sao Paulo and the Palais de Tokyo. It was part of the curatorial team of La Cooperativa, 14 Regional Salon of Artists Zona Centro. Currently he is an Associate of Arts program at the University Jorge Tadeo Lozano of Bogotá Professor. He is currently a doctoral candidate at Evora University in Portugal.
